Precon adalah kabel fiber optik 1 core dengan panjang tertentu yang telah terpasang konektor di kedua ujungnya (patchcord) yang berfungsi sebagai penghubung antar perangkat broadband di jaringan FTTH.

Precon dengan konektor SC/UPC ini menggunakan tipe kabel GJYXCH yang memiliki self-supporting messenger wire dengan jaket LSZH.
